(Right) Here's what a paint mask looks like. It is made of thin metal so it can be laid over the vinyl figure and "mask" off where you do not want the paint to hit, much like a stencil. Some figures involve literally a dozen or more masks. This is the actual mask used to make our Ai Ai cat Kanji.
